BMW presents 3.0 CSL with 553 hp
BMW presented the 3.0 CLS, which stands for “Coupé, Sport, Leichtbau” (Coupe, Sport, Lightweight). Per the German automotive brand, the two-seater sports car is equipped with the company’s most powerful 3.0-liter straight six-cylinder engine with a direct injection system capable of delivering a maximum power output of 553 horsepower (hp).

On its rear are a striking rear spoiler, four tailpipes, a lightweight titanium rear silencer, and an innovative taillamp.
Furthermore, the BMW 3.0 CSL comes with an eye-catching aerodynamics package, which includes a front spoiler, air bars on the front side panels, and a roof spoiler.
Inside the unique two-door sportscar are lightweight M carbon full bucket seats, an M Alcantara steering wheel, and an exclusively-made gearshift knob.
Per BMW, all 50 3.0 CSL are built at the BMW Group Dingolfing plant in Moosthenning, Lower Bavaria. The exclusive interior carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) components are produced by hand both in Munich and at the BMW Group component factory in Landshut by specially assigned bodywork specialists.
Unfortunately, BMW did not announce how much the 3.0 CSL is or if all 50 samples have already been sold.
