“The BMW Individual special paint finishes, which are as exclusive as they are expressive, emphasize the design language for the exterior of the BMW XM, which is characterized by generous surfaces, dynamically flowing lines, and sharp edges. All BMW Individual special paint finishes are applied in a separate manufacturing process with an increased proportion of manual work. A particularly precise surface treatment and a careful finish ensure that they are characterized by impressive color depth and maximum brilliance,” BMW said in a press release.
All four BMW Individual paint complement the BMW XM’s suite of exterior appliques, which include a new kidney grille and new twin headlamps. It also sports blacked-out grille borders, windows, and wheel arches. There are also black high-gloss accents on its diffuser elements in the rear apron.
The BMW XM rides on 23-inch M light-alloy wheels as standard.

And speaking of performance, the BMW XM is equipped with the company’s newly-developed M Hybrid plug-in hybrid drivetrain. BMW previously said that it consists of a new 4.4-liter V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission that can put out as much as 644 to 653 horsepower.
The said drive concept is also used on the BMW M Hybrid V8.
The four new exterior finishes will be available by April 2023.
