The BMW Z4 roadster will receive mild updates including new optional equipment for 2023.
Per the German automotive brand, the new exterior appointments to be expected from its open-top two-seater include a redesigned kidney grille. The front fascia, the Munich-based brand explained, now sports a horizontal inner structure adding to the impression of width at the front.
Those who will opt to get the sDrive30i variant can also expect their Z4 units to come with the M Sport package as standard. With it, the iconic roadster will don a sportier body kit typical of M models. Enhancing its look are three-section air intakes in the front apron, distinctive contours on the side-sill, and bold edging on either side of the rear aprons.
As for optional add-ons, the BMW Z4 can soon be had with a set of 19-inch M light-alloy wheels designed exclusively for the roadster. The wheels, which boast a V-spoke design, Jet Black matte finish, and diamond polished rim edge will be wrapped with 255/35 ZR19 tires at the front and 275/35 ZR19 tires at the rear.
New hues can also be applied to the 2023 BMW Z4. According to the carmaker, the roadster’s palette now includes Thundernight metallic, Portimao Blue metallic, and Skyscraper Grey metallic.
Also new to the options list are the M Shadowline Lights, which may be specified with the optional Adaptive LED headlights. The headlamps’ dark inserts imbue the front of the Z4 with a discreetly sporting aura and compliment the optional Extended Shadowline Trim.
The design of the BMW Z4 interior is defined by a driver-focused cockpit layout, sport seats with integral head restraints, clear, forward-facing lines, and minimal decorative surfaces. With the addition of the M Sport Package as standard, the interior of the BMW Z4 sDrive30i now includes an M leather steering wheel, M Sport seats, M pedals, an M driver’s footrest, and a dashboard upholstered in SensaTec.
BMW confirms that the 2023 Z4 will be offered in two variants: the aforementioned sDrive30i and the M40i. They are priced at US$52,800 (about P3.113 million) and US$65,300 (approximately P3.851 million) respectively. BMW’s customers in the United States (US) will also have to pay the so-called destination fee of US$995 (P58,680).
