BYD Cars Philippines has given the Atto 3 electric crossover some updates for 2025.
Per the Ayala-led automotive distributor, the BYD Atto 3 has been endowed with several exterior and interior upgrades while still retaining its reliable electric powertrain system.
“The latest updates to the BYD Atto 3 enhance its appeal with refined features that keep it fresh and competitive in the growing EV market,” BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca noted.
“Known for offering high-quality features at an affordable price, the Atto 3 continues to attract new customers to the brand as it solidifies its position as the electric vehicle of choice for those seeking a stylish and accessible BEV amid the market’s transition to an electric-powered lifestyle,” he added.
The exterior of the new BYD Atto 3 gets a handful of enhancements, which the brand’s Managing Director explained enhance both its design and functionality.
To begin with, the electric crossover receives gloss black accents on its D-pillar garnish and window trims.
Likewise, a prominent “BYD” emblem is noticeable on the vehicle’s tailgate. The range-topping variant also gets a power liftgate for added convenience.
Further, the newest version offered in the country now wears wide tires in the form of 235/50/R18 Continental rubber. Per BYD, the tires refine the BYD Atto 3’s handling and performance while maintaining a smooth and stable drive.
“The updates to the new BYD Atto 3 enhance both its design and functionality, ensuring a more refined driving experience. These improvements reinforce our commitment to providing innovative and high-quality electric vehicles for our customers,” Palanca said.
The interior of the new BYD Atto 3 also gets its fair share of upgrades.
We have listed the said improvements below:
The new mood lighting enhances the ambiance of the interior while the air filter helps with the air quality, contributing to the occupants’ health and comfort.
BYD also upgraded the Atto 3 EV’s infotainment system. The new model now comes with a 15.6-inch touchscreen display screen (available for the Premium variant), which boasts improved menu visuals and usability, a range of connected services, and a seamless driving experience.
Finally, the cabin also gets new colors and a newly introduced Near-Field Communications card.
Those who are familiar with the BYD Atto 3’s powertrain will be happy to know that the nameplate retained its reliable electric drive system.
Lower variants still run on a 49.9 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery with 410 kilometers (km) of range while top-of-the-line models use a 60.5 kWh battery with 480 km of all-electric range.
“By incorporating thoughtful changes that enhance convenience, style, and performance, the BYD Atto 3 remains the perfect choice for those transitioning to electric vehicles,” BYD Philippines Country Head Aiffy Liu explained.
“Our commitment to maintaining affordability while improving design and quality makes the Atto 3 stand out in the competitive BEV market,” he added.
