Expected to be priced below P1 million, the Philippine-spec vehicle will likely give its would-be owners a range of up to 380 kilometers of range (based on New European Driving Cycle standards).This as the ACMobility-led electric car distributor has displayed the electrified compact hatchback since yesterday at Ayala Malls Trinoma in Quezon City prior to its much-awaited official launch. The event, called the BYD Tech Tour, will be up until Sunday.
The said informal reveal followed the Sealion 6 DM-I’s recent introduction to the Philippine market.

The teaser was done a month after ACMobility Head of Automotive Retail and Distribution Antonio Zara III gave Carmudi Philippines a hint during a press conference after saying that it is one of the “one of the vehicles available during last year’s trip to Zhuhai, China.”
Another nameplate under the BYD’s “Ocean” series, the Seagull is earlier targeted to carry a below P1-million price tag.
Smaller than the Atto 3 (the brand’s best-selling model in the country), BYD Seagull wears the e-Platform 3.0 and comes with Blade batteries that gives the vehicle range of up to 380 kilometers of range (based on New European Driving Cycle standards).
Aside from that, the aforementioned model also has BYD’s intelligent cockpit system and a 10.1-inch adaptive rotating screen.
