BYD Cars PH to start H2 2024 vehicle launches with Sealion 6 reveal

BYD Cars Philippines shall start its string of product reveals for the second half of the year with the forthcoming introduction of the Sealion 6.

The soon-to-be-unveiled product shall be formally launched on July 25 at the Glorietta Activity Center.

Its upcoming reveal shall come weeks after ACMobility Head of Automotive Retail and Distribution Antonio Zara III made known the company’s plan of bringing in models within July-December 2024 timeline.

To note, the BYD Sealion 6 is under the same “Ocean” series as with the Dolphin (which is already being retailed in the local market) and the Seagull (which could arrive in the country in the latter part of the year).

The said product, according to the invitation sent to Carmudi Philippines, is equipped with the marque’s Super DM-i technology, which translates that the vehicle might be running on a hybrid powertrain setup.

The company has yet to provide relevant details about the BYD Sealion 6, but invited the public to see the offering at the launch venue.
