BYD has yet to announce its distributor in the Philippines.BYD Asia Pacific General Manager for Sales Liu Xieliang made the announcement, saying that the brand might be seen in the country around November 2024.
Last October, the luxury sub-brand (which is a product of the collaboration between BYD and Mercedes-Benz in 2010) entered the Singaporean market — months after it was launched in Cambodia.
However, while the group’s Asia Pacific arm is positive on bringing the Denza brand to the Philippines, BYD Group has yet to formally appoint the local distributor for its luxury subsidiary.
Currently, ACMobility — through BYD Cars Philippines—is brand’s distributor in the country. It has brought in the Seal, Seagull, Sealion 6 DM-i, Dolphin, Atto 3, Han, and Tang and is further bolstering the marque’s presence with its commitment to establish a total of 25 dealerships by end of 2024.
