The Toyota Land Cruiser has been a symbol of both luxury and reliability. From running wartime errands to ferrying foreign dignitaries, this posh Japanese sport utility vehicle (SUV) has done it all.
Today, we look at what’s inside the latest iteration of the legendary Toyota LC300.
The cabin of the Toyota LC300 is equipped with lots of leather trims. They could be found on places like the SUV’s seats, the multi-functional steering wheel, the shift lever, the front-row center armrest, and the side of the center console.
On top of giving the LC300’s interior a premium upmarket look, they also provide occupants superior comfort during short and long trips.
Also found inside the Toyota LC300 are a large instrument cluster and infotainment screens.
Past the multi-functional steering wheel is a seven-inch thin-film-transistor (TFT) meter cluster. This screen offers both analog and digital gauges and clearly displays relevant driving information. Accompanying it is a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features.
Audio is sent to either a 10- or a 14-speaker system — depending on the variant.
The Toyota LC300 offers no shortage of electronically-controlled features, namely the eight-way power-adjustable seats, the electronically-adjustable steering wheel, and the power-recline and power-fold third-row seats.
Granted that power functions aren’t exactly the fastest, but at least owners won’t have to break a sweat when making adjustments to the SUV’s interior.
Probably the most striking thing about the Toyota LC300’s interior is the seamless marriage of wood and metal. Designed to exude both a tough and luxurious vibe, one can easily spot wooden and metallic accents inside the cabin.
They can be found on the steering wheel, the dashboard, the center console, as well as on the controls mounted on the door panels.
The Toyota LC300 is offered locally in two variants: the VX and the ZX. They are priced at P5.355 million and P5.747 million respectively.
