Astara-operated GAC Motor Philippines recently launched the Empow sedan, bolstering its local lineup.
Its arrival in the local automotive market means that Filipino car buyers will have an additional option when shopping for a head-turning, modern sedan. And while the GAC Empow’s exterior can is definitely a looker, its interior is certainly what makes this car superior.
On that note, let’s take a look at what’s inside the GAC Empow.
The GAC Empow is equipped with two stunning digital screens. Past the steering wheel is a seven-inch instrument panel. Alongside it is a 10.25-inch LCD touchscreen infotainment system.
The former displays relevant driving information in crisp detail while the former offers modern features such as Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.
GAC finished the interior of the range-topping Empow with leather trims, which can be found on the car’s seats, steering wheel, and front center armrest.
Further, the leather trims feature unique details bearing the GAC badge.
The PVC leather used on the GAC Empow is both plush and durable, which means that it is both comfortable to sit on and easy to clean.
The front seats on the top-of-the-line GAC Empow are heated while the second-row seats are equipped with an armrest and a headrest.
And while heated front seats may not be a popular feature, especially here in the Philippines, the armrest and the headrest will prove to be useful for rear occupants looking to rest and relax while on the road.
The GAC Empow features rear airconditioning vents, the controls of which can be operated on the infotainment system.
Rear passengers will appreciate this feature, especially on hot summer days.
The GAC Empow is available in three variants: the GS, GB, and GE. They are currently offered at a special introductory price of P1.135 million, P1.1215 million, and P1.283 million, respectively.
