Caltex Launches New Caltex Havoline Motorcycle Oils
Caltex, marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), recently launched its newest range of Caltex Havoline synthetic and mineral motorcycle engine oils in an event it dubbed "Ride Strong" held last October 21, 2017 at Valkyrie at the Palace in Bonifacio Global City.
The new Caltex Havoline line of motorcycle engine oils has the brand's proprietary C.O.R.E. Technology that's designed to address a rider's key concerns "and deliver a more enjoyable riding experience with enhanced engine performance." According to the petroleum company, C.O.R.E. Technology is an abbreviation of:
- Cleans and protects for a more efficient and clean engine to deliver superior performance
- Oxidation stability provides heat protection against oil degradation
- Reduces engine heat damage with superior oil stability for continuous protection
- Enhances acceleration through improved clutch grip even under high loads
Another component of the new Caltex Havoline motorcycle oils is its ZoomTech additive technology. Exclusively available in Super 4T Semi-Synthetic and Mineral oils, ZoomTech reportedly improves clutch grip, improving the power transfer and enhancing the motorcycle's acceleration with a twist of the throttle.
In addition, the Caltex Havoline engine oils for scooters have also been upgraded to meet the latest API SN industry standard so scooter riders can now enjoy the improved product performance of an API SN oil whether they purchase the new line of Caltex Havoline semi-synthetic or mineral oil. According to Caltex, all of its new Havoline line of products are compatible with most modern Japanese scooters since it meets the recommended JASO MB standard, making it suitable for dry-clutch gearboxes and ensuring "lower frictional properties to deliver maximum engine efficiency."
"It has always been our pride to provide innovative solutions to our riders not just in enhancing their bike’s engine performance but also in making their experience more exciting and valuable. This is what motivates us to further develop and innovate in our creations for our riding community," Lennard Kwek, Asia Pacific marketing manager for Chevron Lubricants shared.
