Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI) — the marketer of Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants in the country —recently donated some closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras to a community in San Pascual, Batangas.

CPI Senior Corporate Affairs Advisor Raissa Bautista said that the equipment would monitor the safety and improve the security in the area.The recent deed of donation was conducted for the receipt of the equipment that is aimed at enhancing safety and security measures for the residents of Barangay Danglayan.
“Chevron will always be committed to promoting safety awareness in the community where we operate in. We know how important and significant this donation will be to the barangay as this will help them monitor the safety and improve the security of the people of Danglayan,” CPI Senior Corporate Affairs Advisor Raissa Bautista was quoted as saying.
For his part, Barangay Danglayan Chairman Rodolfo Contreras expressed his gratitude to the company. “This would help us a lot in preventing unlawful acts and to keep monitoring the safety of our people,” he noted.
Chevron has been active in doing social investment projects in San Pascual, Batangas in the areas of safety awareness, free livelihood training, road safety, and environmental conservation.
