CAMPI Announces 7th PIMS--'Future Mobility'
You can expect excitement at the 7th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) as members of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI) are set to whet your appetite by revealing the latest offers in their respective line-up.
From October 24-28, 2018, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, PIMS--themed as "Future Mobility"--will be showcasing the latest in CAMPI's offers in the local automotive scene. Bayan Auto (BAIC) will reveal what it unveiled a few weeks ago: the BJ20.
BMW will soon provide what they claim as Sheer Driving Pleasure with the introduction of the first-ever BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, all-new BMW X4, all-new BMW M5, first-ever BMW X2, and BMW M2.
Daewoo is set to wave its (literally) big support to the efforts in mitigating air pollution with its environment-friendly Daewoo Bus BS120SN and Daewoo Truck Medium Commercial Vehicle with Euro 5-emission standard engine equipped with SCR System.
Same with Foton, this China-based brand will be revealing its Gratour IM6 and the Gratour TM, the Tornado M5.2C light-duty truck, the EST-400 4x2 Tractor Head, GTL 6x4 Mixer Truck, Hurricane ESTM 6x2 Cargo, and GTL 8x4 High Roof Dump Truck that claims to provide power, durability, reliability, efficiency, and clean emissions, thanks to its Blue Energy technology.
It's business as usual for FUSO as it will showcase the Light-, Medium-, and Heavy-Duty Truck Market together with shuttle models from the Light Bus up to the PUV Modernization Program models.
Honda will be displaying its Honda Civic Type R, Honda BR-V, Honda City, and Honda CR-V.
Isuzu will display its diesel engines that has been engineered with Blue Power technology as seen in the Isuzu mu-X RZ4E LS, Isuzu mu-X Luxe, Isuzu D-MAX RZ4E LS, Isuzu D-MAX 4x4, Isuzu modernized PUVs, andIsuzu's latest pride, the Isuzu EXZ QL.
Jaguar with its F-PACE And E-PACE will surely get its followers up on their toes as these all-electric, autonomous cars, equipped with artificial intelligence, connecting the driver, the family, and the world.
Land Rover will display its Land Rover Discovery, together with the new Range Rover Velar.
As earlier reported here, Mazda will reveal the refreshed versions of the Mazda6, MX-5 (now packed with better performance) and the most premium flagship, the CX-9.
Mitsubishi Motors will put on display the e-EVOLUTION CONCEPT and Outlander PHEV along with its best-sellers, the Xpander, Montero Sport, Strada,and the Mirage G4.
For Nissan, event attendees and gearheads shall see on display the all-new Nissan Terra, Nissan Navara, and Nissan X-Trail that sports Nissan Intelligent Mobility. Apart from that, the electric Nissan LEAF--which is being considered to be available on local shores--will further provide tingling sensation to the follower of the EV platform.
Korea's SsangYong will have on display the Musso ,the first Korean-built contender for the pickup segment.
Suzuki is expected to take its share of the limelight as it will be showcasing the all-new Swift, Dzire and Vitara, which are gaining traction being good city slickers for their gas consumption expertise.
Tata Motors' small commercial vehicles category will be headed by the Euro-IV Tata Super Ace Mint with a one-ton payload.
Local industry giant Toyota will be bringing in the TJ Cruiser, a hybrid concept SUV that is said to have luggage capacity of a cargo van.
German marque Volkswagen will display its latest offering such as the Santana 1.5 MPI AT Trendline and Comfortline, Santana GTS 1.5 MPI AT Comfortline, and the Lamando 280 TSI DSG Comfortline and Highline equipped with BlueMotion Technology.
