CAMPI-TMA Nov. YTD sales up by 24%
The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) reported a 24-percent increase in their overall sales from January to November this year.

Toyota Motor Philippines dominates the market with a 46.2-percent share.Per their latest record, the organizations posted a total vehicle sales of 390,654 units. In comparison, their recorded sales in the same time period last year is only 315,337 vehicles.
In November alone, CAMPI and TMA sold a total of 37,683 automobiles. In contrast with its posted sales in the same month last year, which is 35,037, the two institutions saw a 7.6-percent increase.
“We already achieved 92 percent of our 2023 forecast in November; we may even exceed our sales forecast of 423,000 units if sales performance in the last three months is sustained,” CAMPI President Rommel Gutierrez stated.
He also noted that vehicle sales are being pushed by continued aggressive marketing activities and supply improvement across all brands.
Speaking of which, Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation continues to dominate the automotive market with a 46.2-percent share. It is followed by Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation, which took up 18.4 percent of the market.
Ford Motor Company Philippines, Incorporated is the third best-selling automotive locally with a 7.3-percent share of the market while Nissan Philippines, Incorporated took 6.3 percent.
Finally, Suzuki Philippines gets the remaining 4.3 percent market share.
