CAMPI-TMA sales grow 8.9% in Jan.-Oct. 2024
Overall sales nearly break 353k-unit mark
The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) were able to sell a total of 352,971 vehicles in the first 10 months of 2024.

Last month, CAMPI and TMA jointly delivered 40,003 vehicles to clients, which showed a 4.9 percent increase in retail volume versus the 38,128 units handed over to buyers in 2023. The same figure is also 1.2 percent higher than the 39,542-unit output in September 2024.
According to CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez, the sales performance can be attributed to “good sales and good stock availability — neutralizing the effect of the typhoon Kristine on the operations of dealers nationwide last month.”
Sales per category
Cornering 73.77 percent share of the local automotive market is the commercial vehicle segment, retailing 283,501 vehicles in January to October this year. It is 7.8-percent higher than the 262,875 examples sold over the same period for the previous year.
Meanwhile, the passenger car category had 100,809 vehicles sold — showing a nearly 12-percent growth compared to January-October 2023’s 90,096-unit sales turnout.
Top 10 brands for Jan.-Oct. 2024
Toyota Motor Philippines continuously held the top spot of the list by selling 178,421 units in January-October 2024 and cornering 46.43 percent of the market. Also keeping its position at the second spot is Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation with 73,376 vehicles handed over to buyers (19.09-percent market share).
Securing the third place is Ford Motor Philippines with 23,505 units sold (6.12 percent) while Nissan Philippines is still at the fourth spot with 22,289 (5.80 percent)
Suzuki Philippines is at the fifth position, cornering 4.36-percent market share with its 16,762 units retailed.
Companies holding the sixth, seventh, and eight spots are Isuzu Philippines Corporation (14,134 units sold, 3.72-percent overall market share), Honda Cars Philippines (12,807 vehicles retailed, 3.33 percent), and Hyundai Motor Philippines (9,690 examples, 2.52-percent).
SAIC Motors-led Morris Garages Philippines continues to keep the ninth place with 7,393 units rolled out to clients (1.92 percent), and the Ayala-led KP Motors Corporation (Kia’s local arm) is at 10th place with 5,165 vehicles sold (1.34 percent).
