The upcoming vehicle is powered by a combination of gasoline engine and electric motor.Based on the documents from the energy department, the aforementioned model is under the list of recognized plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) in the country.
The DOE shared that the vehicle from the Chinese automaker comes with a gasoline engine and an electric motor that can give a peak churn of 268 horsepower and 470 Newton-meters of torque. The aforementioned model approved in the list is said to be the 4x4 Knights Version.
Giving energy to the electric motor is a 31.8 kilowatt-hour ferrous lithium phosphate battery that can be juiced up using a Type 2 GBT connector.
Further, the Changan Hunter REEV is 5,630 millimeters (mm) long; 1,930 mm wide; and 1,885 mm tall with a 3,105-mm gross weight.
More information about the vehicle is expected to be shared by Inchcape Philippines (Changan Auto’s official distributor in the country), which has yet to make an announcement on the nameplate’s official unveiling.
