Changan PH to conduct premier nationwide test drive tour

The newest distributor for Chinese automotive brand Changan is showing its grit to start the year with the announcement of their nationwide test drive tour.

Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) is all systems go for their initiative dubbed as Change Your Mindset: The Changan Nationwide Test Drive Tour.

Starting January 25 to March 17, 2021, Changan vehicles—namely the Alsvin subcompact sedan, the CS35 Plus subcompact SUV, and the CS75 Plus compact SUV—will be ready for test drive as they visit the 33 Changan dealerships and sales outlets around the country.

CMPI President and CEO Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo said that the move was meant to showcase the models' capabilities.

“We are so excited to share to the market the remarkable features and the ‘Lasting Safety’ of Changan,” Agudo said.

“Now you can experience our brand’s proof of quality and fuel efficiency as you will be road testing them in various locations of the country under real driving conditions in a safe and comfortable way.”

The Philippine market got the first glimpse of the three above-mentioned models—together with the CS95 seven-seat SUV and the Eado EV460 pure electric vehicle—at the virtual version of the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS Wired) on December 16. 

The Changan lineup was first introduced in November last year after the Changan vehicles started to be brought in under new management. Prior to that, then Changan distributor Berjaya Auto Asia Inc. (BAAI) was renamed into Kaicene, a sub-brand under the umbrella group of Changan.

Going back, the Changan Alsvin boasts features such as Sunroof, Cruise Control, Blind Spot and Rear Cameras, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and Leather Seats. 

Meanwhile, the Changan CS35 Plus is fitted with a Panoramic Sunroof, Engine Remote Start, Passive Keyless Entry, Blind Spot and Rear Cameras, 10-inch Touchscreen Display, and 7-speed DCT.

Lastly, the Changan CS75 Plus has a Panoramic Sunroof, 360-degree Camera, Engine Remote Start, 12-inch Touchscreen, 7-inch Digital Cluster, Cruise Control, Triple Drive Modes, and six Airbags.
