Changan PH to open HQ in Calamba

Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI), is set to open its national headquarters at the Auto Resources Center (ARC) in Calamba City, Laguna. The official distributor of Changan vehicles in the country has conducted a groundbreaking ceremony last week, May 17.

Present at the groundbreaking event were Calamba City Mayor Ross Rizal, City Engineer Pablo Del Mundo, Barangay Chairman Aigrette Lajara, Councilor Rayay Lajara, Metriccon Co. President Joseph Alarilla, Aura Builders General Manager Eduardo De Perio Teano, as well as the CMPI and Pan Asia Property Management Teams headed by CMPI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.

The CMPI National HQ is envisioned to be the flagship of operations excellence and training for Changan’s local arm.

“The CMPI National Headquarters will be our hub for exponential growth… We are not only breaking ground for our brand and CMPI, we are also opening new opportunities for the people of Calamba, the neighboring cities, and ultimately, for our industry and our nation,” said the CMPI boss.

The soon-to-rise 2,390-square-meter structure sits on ARC’s 20-hectare property. The entire complex, inspired by Changan International Corporation’s (CIC) global corporate identity, will house a spacious modern showroom, full-service workshops, offices, and training facilities for the brand’s sales, after-sales, customer relations, and marketing personnel.

The CMPI National Headquarters is slated to begin operations by December.
