Nissan just launched the Livina, a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) that is considered the twin of the Mitsubishi Xpander.
And while it’s no secret that the Nissan Livina and the Mitsubishi Xpander share a lot of things (after all, the former is a product of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance) you might be surprised that they also share the same five set of hues.
That said, we’re going to take a look at the familiar palette of the Nissan Livina.
Red makes the Nissan Livina look like a daring MPV. The color typically represents passion and the newly-revealed offering does evoke a spirited driving experience.
Under the hood is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine mated to either a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic tranny. This setup makes a respectable 103 horsepower (hp) with 141Nm of torque.
The Nissan Livina looks like a family carrier through and through in this white hue. Unlike the other strong colors in the Nissan Livina’s palette, the Diamond Pearl White paint exudes an air of serenity and safety.
And while we’re on the topic of safety, the Nissan Livina is equipped with standard safety features such as Hill Start Assist (HSA), a reverse camera, an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), and a Traction Control System (TCS), among others.
The Nissan Livina is undeniably stylish wearing the Onyx Black paint. It perfectly matches the vehicle's chrome trims found on the V-Motion grille, side view mirrors, window molding, and 16-inch machine-finished alloy wheels.
This Platinum Silver paint makes the Nissan Livina look like a tech-heavy MPV. And while it does not have Tesla-like features, the Nissan Livina does pack enough modern amenities to keep its passengers happy.
Inside is a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, phonelink, and audio streaming capabilities. The range-topping model also comes with six speakers.
Moonstone Gray makes the Nissan Livina look like a sophisticated MPV. Its dark gray colors denote a luxurious vibe that usually comes with premium rides.
Inside are plush black leather seats, a leather steering wheel, and some leather on the shift knob.
The Nissan Livina, as well as the Nissan Kicks e-Power, is expected be showcased by the Japanese automotive brand's local arm at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show starting tomorrow.
