MANILA: The 2025 Makina Moto Expo wrapped up yesterday, with the event serving as a venue for both motorcycle manufacturers and aftermarket brands to unveil new offerings that would catch the attention of attendees.

    Suzuki Philippines Incorporated presented the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM motorcycles at the recently concluded Makina Moto Expo. The said models are a part of the brand’s “Ready for Play” campaign, which looks to excite on-road and off-road enthusiasts in the country.

    Hot on the heels of its exclusive preview, Bristol Motorcycles presented to the public its newest offerings in the form of the new Zontes family of expressway-legal motorbikes.

    Five large displacement models (four maxi scooters, one adventure bike) were displayed at their pavilion at Makina Moto Expo. Below are the said two-wheelers: 

    The big scoots are all powered by a 400 cubic centimeter (cc) engine mated to an automatic transmission system. On the other hand, the off-road-oriented model packs a 400 cc powerplant with a manual gearbox.

    Kymco’s trifecta

    For Kymco’s part, it formally launched three new models at the 2025 Makina Moto Expo. There are the following: 

    • Kymco Dollar 150
    • Kymco Dink S 150
    • Kymco AK 575 Premium

    The Kymco Dollar 150, which reminded the author of the discontinued Honda Zoomer X (called the Ruckus in other markets), is powered by a 150.1 cc engine mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). 

    As for the Kymco Dink S 150, it boasts aggressive styling. Powering the Yamaha NMax-looking scoot is a 149.8 cc engine and a CVT. 

    Finally, the Kymco AK 575 Premium brings things up a notch with a larger power unit with a displacement size of 574.2 cc accompanied by a CVT.

    Royal Enfield Bear 650

    Royal Enfield has unleashed the Bear 650 last week.

    During the 2025 Makina Moto Expo, the scrambler was presented with a 650-twin engine capable of putting out the following figures:

    Triumph Bonneville Bobber Icon-edition

    Triumph Philippines presented the only Bonneville Bobber Icon-edition here in the country at the Makina Moto Expo last weekend.

    Touted as a coveted unit due to its exclusivity, the bobber carries the price tag of P1.065 million.

    For the said amount, the lucky owner can enjoy the following specs:

    Vespa Philippines gave two of its nameplates new colorways, adding a pop of new hue to its fun and spirited scoots.
