Chery Auto PH to unveil spruced-up Tiggo 2 Pro, preview 5X Pro

Following the teasers posted over its Facebook page, Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) has confirmed the nameplates that will be seen at the forthcoming 9th Philippine International Motor Show.

In a statement, the Chinese automaker’s local arm will officially reveal the updated Chery Tiggo 2 Pro and give a sneak preview of the new Tiggo 5x Pro.

However, the United Asia Automotive Group Incorporated-led automotive distributor has yet to share the details about the two upcoming offerings.

“CAP is stepping up its game in the Philippine automotive market, offering exciting and innovative rides that match different lifestyles and life stages. With the new Tiggo 2 Pro, Chery offers more reasons to drive forward in life in terms of practicality, technology, and style,” the firm noted.

Chery Tiggo 2 Pro’s possible features

While waiting for CAP to dish out the detailed information about it, here are some of Chery Tiggo 2’s possible specifications.

As seen in the brand’s global website, the model sports a modern look complemented by the high-definition crystal lens LED headlamps and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Its cabin is equipped with a seven-inch thin-film transistor instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen.

Further, the model might be equipped with a .5-liter gasoline mill mated to a continuously variable transmission.

Other programs

Relatedly, CAP shall offer test drives for other members of its current lineup namely the new Chery Tiggo 2 Pro, Tiggo 5x Pro Hybrid, Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, and the Tiggo 8 Pro Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).

The Chinese automaker’s local arm shall also bring the Chery Tiggo Crossovers volleyball team at the motoring spectacle for a meet-and-greet session on Saturday (October 26). Fans and visitors will have the chance to connect with their favorite volleyball stars and even snag some exclusive merchandise signed by the players.
