Chery PH to introduce new model at 2022 MIAS

Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) will be expanding its Tiggo range and will be officially unveiling it at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS).

Based on the materials shared to Carmudi Philippines, the Chinese automaker’s local arm is expected to bring a hybrid model as the forthcoming offering is “guaranteed to electrify” one’s spirit.

"We are excited to let MIAS 2022 visitors get the first look at this all-new Chery. With its convention-redefining luxury SUV styling and premium features, we expect it to be nothing less than a game-changer in this highly competitive segment," CAP President Erroll Duenas was quoted as saying.

Based on the press photos, the soon-to-be-unveiled model has an EV and HEV mode near the shift knob.

Further, the upcoming model is expected to come with the industry-leading Premium Preserv suite of after-sales warranties that include 10-year/one million-kilometer (km) engine warranty, a five-year or 150,000-km general vehicle warranty, free three-year preventive maintenance service (PMS), and free three-years roadside assistance.
