Chevrolet Philippines has made its final for the retail of the sixth-generation Camaro.
Per The Covenant Car Company Incorporated (TCCCI), it is set to receive the nameplate’s final batch for Southeast Asia, which forms part of the last few units that will be sold globally. To note, the Golden Bowtie brand confirmed early this year that the sixth-generation Camaro would be the American muscle car’s final edition.
With that, the company is accepting pre-orders for the classic-in-the-making model — with a starting price of P4,266,888 — in all of Chevrolet Philippines’ 19 dealerships in the country.
“With the very last Camaro expected to roll off the assembly line in January 2024, the window to drive home this quintessential American muscle car is closing fast,” TCCCI shared.
“In the Philippines, the Camaro is a mainstay among sports car enthusiasts and has established a strong following for its sheer power, agility, and striking presence. And the buzz surrounding the vehicle has resonated among Filipinos who are keen on driving home what is largely being regarded as the ‘last Camaro,’” it added.
The sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro features sculpted hood, distinct fascia with LED headlamps, black bowtie logo and RS badge, and muscular flanks with five-spoke 20-inch machined wheels.
Powering the vehicle is a 2.0-liter turbo intercooled all-aluminum mill that has the capacity to deliver 275 horsepower and 398 Newton-meters of torque. The aforementioned engine is paired with an eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. Guaranteeing the stopping are the Brembo Brake package with four-piston calipers and disc rotors.
Inside, the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro comes with sport bucket seats with power adjust and memory function; an eight-inch driver information center and an equally-sized MyLink infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.
In addition, the vehicle features a head-up display that projects driving data near the line of sight on the windshield.
Further, the car has a myriad of advanced safety and driver assistance technologies such as the patented StabiliTrak System, anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, lane change alert, side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, tire pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, and built-in reverse camera.
Just like all the Chevrolet vehicles offered in the country, the sixth-generation Camaro is packaged with a five-year warranty coverage, automatic enrollment to the 24/7 Chevrolet Roadside Assistance service for three years, and immediate access to the 24/7 Chevy Hotline for convenient vehicle service and ownership needs.
