Chevrolet to reveal Blazer EV on June 18

Chevrolet announced that the upcoming 2024 Blazer EV SUV will be revealed this Saturday, June 18. The Golden Bowtie brand also revealed a teaser photo of the Chevy Blazer EV SS, providing us a glimpse of what to expect come launch day.

The teaser photo of what we presume is the range-topping variant of the Blazer, as the “SS” or Super Sport badge is often slapped on souped-up trims of Chevy’s vehicles, appears to have a two-tone finish with plenty of black accents that adorn its grille, pillars, roof, and body baseline. The wheels are seemingly large, the wheelbase looks long, with short-looking front and rear overhangs.

Overall, the official photo provided by Chevrolet gives the impression that the Blazer EV looks like an aggressive and capable midsize SUV.

According to information previously provided by the brand, the 2024 Blazer EV SUV will be built on GM’s Ultium EV platform, like the Equinox EV, and other battery-electric vehicles from the automotive conglomerate.

We expect other details such as charging time, estimated range, horsepower, torque, and interior appointments to be revealed this weekend or as the Blazer EV nears launch. Chevrolet said that the EV SUV will go on sale in spring (from March to June) of 2023.
