Chevrolet Traiblazer, Tracker get outstanding fuel efficiency ratings in latest eco run
The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) expressed pride over the results of the recent fuel efficiency test for its two models, the 2022 Trailblazer and Tracker.

The eco run was supervised by the Automobile Association Philippines.Based on the recently conducted economy run (conducted under Automobile Association Philippines' [AAP> supervision), the 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer had a 20.87 kilometers-per-liter (kpl) rating while the Tracker, a remarkable 25.05 kpl consumption.
The aforementioned models covered a total distance of 263.3 kilometers (from Clark to Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) Rosario Exit and back last July 18 under the following parameters to simulate realistic driving conditions:
- Total of two passengers per vehicle with no heavy luggage
- Tires were set according to the factory-recommended tire pressure
- Vehicle speed maintained at 80-90 kilometers per hour (kph) on the highway with observation of traffic regulations and limits

This further underscores our message that the Tracker and Trailblazer are smart choices in the crossover and compact SUV segments,” he added.
The 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer is powered by a GM E-Turbo 1.3-liter double overhead cam turbocharged engine matched with a new-generation lightweight continuously variable transmission with multi-mode drive system. While being efficient, the powertrain can also provide as much as 155 horses and 236Nm of torque.
Other features that are found on the compact sport utility vehicle offering (which can be enjoyed on both the Premier and LT variants) are forward collision alert, following distance indicator, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, six airbags, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, rear park assist, and rear cross traffic alert.
On the other hand, Chevrolet Tracker is equipped with a 1.0-liter three cylinder-Cylinder Ecotec turbocharged mill (that has a maximum churn of up to 116hp and 175 Nm of pulling power) mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and active thermal management system that optimizes engine performance.
The vehicle also comes with enhanced stability control systems and safety technologies fitted in the LS and LT Redline trims.
