Chevron PH offers new Caltex Delo 400 SLK SAE 15W-40

Chevron Philippines Inc., the official marketer of Caltex in the country, has announced the latest addition to its lubricant line Delo, the introduction of the Delo SLK SAE 15W-40.

The latest product from Caltex, the Delo 400 SLK SLK SAE 15W-40 meets the API CK-4 CJ-4, CI-4 PLUS/SN or ACEA E9 performance standards to address the needs of diesel engines and is designed to cut the cost of transportation and logistics companies.

Also intended to boost the performance of various diesel engines, the recently-unveiled member of the Delo line offers improved oxidation stability, which allows engines to have extended drain intervals, enabling smoother and undisrupted operations even for vehicles operating under severe operating conditions.

Caltex also claimed that the new Delo 400 SLK has engineered an exceptional anti-wear system that improves protection against corrosion and wear.

Chevron Lubricants for Philippines Area Business Manager Hafiz Nasar cited the need for the new product with the reopening of the local economy.

 “With the gradual reopening of the economy and easing of quarantine restrictions in the country, it is vital that companies ramp up their fleet while keeping the engines protected to better meet customers’ ever-increasing needs. When we upgrade our engine oils, we also future-proof our vehicles during these uncertain times,” Nasar said.

Specially-formulated with ISOSYN Advanced Technology, the Delo 400 SLK SAE 15W-40 is the product of careful integration of premium base oils, high-performance additives, and the company’s formulation expertise infused into top-tier Delo products.

Further, Chevron noted that the product is made with the latest generation low-SAPS (Sulfated Ash, Phosphorus and Sulfur) formulation, to lessen carbon footprint and extend the life of sensitive aftertreatment devices and the cleaning intervals of engine filters.

Delo 400 SLK’s balanced formulation can lubricate a vast range of high-speed engines requiring API CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 PLUS/SN or ACEA E9 performance lubricants.

 The new Delo 400 SLK is available in drum and 18-liter pail packaging.
