Chou is PH's Hyundai Technician Skills champ
Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) revealed that Dave Chou, a technician of the Hyundai Las Piñas outlet operated by the Chiongbian Group, is this year’s Hyundai Technician Skills Championship (HTSC) national title winner.

Chou will represent the country in the upcoming World Skills Olympics in October.The seven-year veteran, HMPH pointed out, has been with the branch since 2016.
And while this is Chou’s first appearance and win, his peers and trainers regard it not as luck but rather the fruit of diligence and hard work.
He contested against 12 technicians from 30 Hyundai dealer groups across the country, which were divided into three groups of four for a multi-round event.
The groups worked on HMPH’s new subcompact crossover SUV, the Hyundai Creta, and were evaluated based on three diagnostic areas: Engine, Electrical, and Chassis.
After the dust settled, Chou was declared the winner after successfully analyzing and trouble-shooting the designated unit.

Chou will represent the Philippines in the upcoming World Skills Olympics in October. Set in South Korea, the biennial competition will be attended by all regional winners from over 70 countries coming from Eastern Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.
