Mercedes-Benz and Cigarette Racing recently presented the all-new Cigarette 41’ Nighthawk AMG Black Series alongside the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series.
Both the boat and the performance coupe showcase advanced engineering with cutting-edge elements making them stand out in both land and water.
The 41’ Nighthawk AMG Black Series Edition features a unique twin-step hull design, a low center of gravity, a carbon fiber deck, and an all-carbon-fiber hard-top design. The result is a boat that boasts remarkable performance, superior handling and speed, as well as improved structural integrity.
The helm of the boat features three Garmin 8617 multi-functional displays flush-mounted to an instrument panel CNC-cut from a solid block of aluminum, says Mercedes. The instrument panel has been coated to protect it from heat, reflections, and fingerprints.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the 41’ Nighthawk AMG Black Series Edition is powered by 4.6-liter V8 Mercury Racing 450R outboard engines capable of generating 450 prop shaft horsepower each. This propels the special edition boat to a top speed of 145kph.
Its four-wheeled counterpart, on the other hand, sports a handcrafted AMG V8 engine with a flat-plane crankshaft. The powertrain setup allows the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series to generate a maximum power output of 730hp with 800Nm of torque.
The new engine allows the supercar to speed from zero to 60 (mph) in just 3.1 seconds. Top speed peaks at 325kph.
Both car and boat sport matching “Magmabeam” orange paint with black accents all over.
The 41’ Nighthawk AMG Black Series Edition features handpainted AMG logos towards the bow of the boat in a repeating pattern. The center trim pieces of the engine cowling also don the Magmabeam paint.
In the same way, the Mercedes Benz AMG GT Black Series echoes the design cues that complement the aggressive motorsport front end with a unique and large AMG-specific grille and AMG GT4 racing car design.
The Cigarette 41’ Nighthawk AMG Black Series special edition boat is a product of a long-standing partnership between Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing and is the 13th boat jointly developed by both companies.
