Suzuki Philippines updated the Suzuki Celerio earlier this year. For 2022, the King of Kei gave its compact car a host of updates which include a refreshed exterior and a more modern interior.
Outside, Suzuki’s small hatch now dons a cute yet aggressive look. The new headlamps make it appear like it has an angry stare and the black plastic claddings at the bottom of its fore give the cute car a frowning face. Overall, the new Celerio’s updated look gives it more attitude than its predecessor.
Inside, the Suzuki Celerio offers a compact yet competent space. We’re going to go into detail about what one will find in the cabin of the 2022 Suzuki Celerio in this article.
The cabin of the 2022 Suzuki Celerio now boasts a modern look. Sure, it still has plenty of hard plastics but the mixture of angles and contours found on the hatch’s dash and doors give its interior a sculpted contemporary appeal.
In addition, the analog and digital instrument panel found in the Celerio comes with orange accents. This pop of color, despite not having any effect on the car’s performance, is a welcome sight for those who are used to Suzuki’s conventional utilitarian interior design.
Similarly, Suzuki also implemented various chrome trims inside the Celerio. These silver highlights add some level of sophistication to the otherwise monotonous tone of the cabin.
While the Suzuki Celerio is undoubtedly small, its interior is designed to accommodate its passenger’s daily carry.
Storage options include the glove box at the front seat, the tray and the drink holder at the front console, as well as bottle holders at the front and rear doors.
Granted the seats inside the Suzuki Celerio is not the best in the segment, it still provides passengers with ample cushioning to keep them comfortably seated in both long short drives.
Speaking of drives, Roy Robles from ZIGWHEELS PHILIPPINES — Carmudi’s sister site — joined the Suzuki Celerio media drive where he and his team took the compact car to Batangas and back.

Like the seats, the infotainment system on the Suzuki Celerio won’t win the nameplate any awards. However, for its price point, the in-car audio unit offers decent entertainment for its passengers.
It, unfortunately, lacks Apple CarPlay and Android Auto but the 6.2-inch infotainment system does the job of keeping both the driver and the passenger engaged.
