DAF boosts local truck lineup with CF Series
The local importer of Dutch brand Van Doorne's Aanhangwagen Fabriek (DAF) trucks in the Philippines has boosted its lineup after bringing in the CF Series to the local market.
DAF PH Managing Director Aaron Go announced that the CF Series, which embodies DAF’s “Driven by Quality” design philosophy, has arrived in its showrooms at Pulo-Diezmo Road in Cabuyao, Laguna.
These latest offerings are powered by its 6.7- and 9.7- liter GR engines which, according to DAF Philippines, “the stringent Euro 5 and 6 emissions standards.”
“The CF Series is suited for regional, national, international transport requirements and is capable of traversing smooth to rough terrains, in any kind of weather due to its rigid chassis which comes in two-, three- or four-axle configurations,” DAF said in its statement.
The truck maker reached its 10,000-unit production milestone in Taiwan early this year, some three years after surpassing the 5,000 mark.
Earlier this month, DAF said that it is “setting a new standard with an entirely new lineup of trucks” with the introduction of the new XF, XG and XG+. These three trucks, offer 10 percent improved fuel efficiency and are fitted with “full suite of passive and active safety features and the next level of luxury in truck design.” The production of the latest product line will begin October this year.
