Actor Daniel Craig, the latest to play James Bond, was given the chance to design his own Aston Martin DBS Superleggera for the fantasy gift catalogue of American luxury department store chain Neiman Marcus.
Only seven of these ultra-rare cars are being offered, selling for a wallet-draining USD700,007 (PHP 36 million before tax). That's almost twice the cost of the regular DBS.
What makes these cars unique is that the specs of the car were chosen by the James Bond actor himself. The interior color matches the exterior paint job, accented by uniquely-designed carbon fiber trim on the doors and center console that features geometric etching.
Appearing only in an unnamed inky blue paint finish, all seven cars come with a 5.2-liter V12 engine that shells out 715 hp and 900 Nm.
The hefty price tag also comes with a special Omega Seamaster Diver 300M watch with 007’s trademark gun barrel rifling design. Buyers will also have the exclusive chance to go to the world premiere of the latest Bond film "No Time to Die" in April 2020 , with airfare and hotel already paid for.
Buyers will also be flown to Aston Martin's London factory via American Airlines to see their car roll off the assembly line.
In case you're thinking it's all capitalism, 12 percent of the purchase price will be given to Opportunity Network, a nonprofit group that helps minority and low-income students get into and through college.
As of October 20, the gift package hasn't sold out yet.
Neiman Marcus advises buyers to provide three potential travel dates by February 2020, and the "experience" has to happen before the end of next year.
