Twelve brand-new KTM Duke 390 motorcycles are now part of the fleet of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) after the Delgado brothers (Delbros Group) recently donated them.
Seven KTM motorcycles will go to the PNP and five to the AFP. The donation is part of the Delbros Group's continuing corporate social responsibility and stakeholder capacity-building program. Delbros is known in four industries namely logistics, transportation, technology and food production) throughout its 75 years of operations in the country.
The ceremonial turnover and deed of donation signing for AFP were done in Camp General E. Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

The AFP lauded the Delbros Group’s latest donation, saying that the vehicles “will enhance their incident response capacity and liaison services with both houses of Congress respectively.”
Nualda said, “On behalf of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, I thank the Delbros Group, led by Chairman Jose Eduardo Delgado, for this generosity. This grant of five units will not only boost the capability of the Armed Forces but it will also uplift the well-being of our personnel."
Meanwhile, the seven units allocated for the PNP were received by PNP Chief General Guillermo Eleazar and PNP Highway Patrol Group Police Brigadier General Alexander Tagum.
Of the given units, Delbros Group shared that the five will be distributed around Metro Manila while the other two will be stationed in Mindanao. Also present during the handover event were Edgar Santos of Delbros Leasing and Marianne Mendoza of United Parcel Service (UPS) Philippines.
Eleazar expressed gratitude for the support of the company to the police force.
“With these donations, we can be more effective in the delivery of the services that are expected of us from the Filipino people.” The common goal of having a peaceful and progressive nation will only be possible if the PNP and the private sector work together for the greater good of the country, Chief PNP Eleazar concluded.
