Designed for Wet Conditions, Goodyear PH Brings in Assurance TripleMax 2
Global tire brand Goodyear has introduced its latest product, designed to prep drivers for the rainy season. Coinciding with the 120th anniversary celebration of being in the business globally, Goodyear Philippines launched the Assurance TripleMax 2--that would give drivers utmost safety and control, especially on wet roads.
The latest offering is equipped with the new HydroTred Technology, which provides excellent grip performance with short braking distance under wet road conditions.
Kenneth Sambajon, Market Director of Goodyear Philippines, explained that the introduction of the Assurance TripleMax 2 embodies the values of the brand.

"To celebrate our 120th global anniversary, it is only fitting that we release a tire that perfectly captures what Goodyear has been passionate about throughout the years: innovation. With the Assurance TripleMax 2, Filipino drivers can rest assured that their travels would be safe, regardless of the weather conditions," Sambajon said.
As pioneers in the tire technology, the successor of the highly successful Assurance TripleMax in 2013 was enhanced to deliver better performance, specifically in its wet braking, handling, comfort, and resistance.
The Assurance TripleMax 2's excellent wet-braking performance provides maximum grip and shorter wet braking distance thanks to its boosted compound formulation by increasing silica content and adhesive resin for increased stickiness.
The new HydroTred technology augmented the footprint with its combined squarer and robust tire cavity that adds effect to contact pressure capabilities, thereby increasing handling performance.
But despite proving its performance level, comfort and resistance are still given high regards. The Assurance TripleMax 2 has an innovative tread pattern that provides riders with the quietest, smoothest, and most comfortable ride yet, while being equipped with additional technical components that increase its resistance for all sidewall impacts.
Further, the latest offer comes in 14-inch up to 17-inch rim diameters and in various sizes and is covered under a five-year warranty.
