DFSK formally enters PH EV arena
Local arm brings in 3 NEV models
Months after launching the Seres brand in the Philippines (which has yet to commence sales), QSJ Motor Philippines formally launched the DFSK marque to the local market.

E5 PHEV
A seven-seater sport utility vehicle, the DFSK E5 PHEV is 4,760 millimeters (mm) long; 1,865 mm wide; and 1,710 mm tall, with a 2,785-mm wheelbase.
The vehicle is propelled by a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine (which can deliver 174 horses [hp> and 135 Newton-meters [Nm>) mated to an electric motor (which has peak churn of 174 hp and 300 Nm).
The said electric powertrain comes with a 17.52-kilowatt-hour battery that lets the vehicle cover a range of 87 kilometers (km). Combined with an internal combustion mill, the vehicle has the capacity to do more than 1,000 kms, the company noted.
Power is transferred to the front wheels via the E-continuous variable transmission with wet-type multi-disk clutch.
Inside, the DFSK E5 PHEV boasts a pair of digital screens (seven-inch instrument gauge cluster and 12.3-inch infotainment system), heated and cooling front seats, up to 12-speaker set-up.
Its host of technologies consisted of an anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist, electronic stability controller, traction control system, as well as hill start assist and hill descent control.
The vehicle can be in any of the two variants namely the Deluxe (priced at P1.58 million) and Ultimate (P1.88 million).
Candy Mini EV
Meanwhile, the DFSK Candy Mini EV measures 3,030 mm long; 1,495 mm wide; and 1,640 mm tall with a 135-mm ground clearance and 1,960-mm wheelbase. It sits on 13-inch wheels wrapped in 145/60 radial tires.
The vehicle is fitted with an electric motor in rear-wheel-drive format (which can dish out 40 hp and 100 Nm) with lithium iron phosphate battery, letting the vehicle cover up to 220 km without fumes.
Stopping power comes from discs brakes at the front and drums at the rear.
The mini-EV offering wears a P658,000-price tag.
EC75
Lastly, the DFSK EC75 is 5,130 mm long; 1,860 mm wide; and 2,020 mm tall and has a 3,20-mm wheelbase and 170-mm unladen ground clearance.
It features various smart features that make it a future-ready logistics partner.
Moving the electrified commercial vehicle (which has a seven-cubic meter cargo space capacity) is its front electric motor that can provide 94 horses and 230 Nm of torque. It matched to a 50.38-kilowatt-hour power battery.
Priced at P1.45 million, the DFSK EC75 is also equipped with engine start/stop, wireless phone charging, head-up display, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, and speed limiter.
It can be recalled that last June, QSJ Motor Philippines brought to the country the Seres as well as its initial two-model lineup Seres 5 (in standard and Saker Falcon options) and 7 —which have yet to come with their respective prices.
