Diesel pump price hike this week to breach P2/L mark
Fuel companies in the Philippines shall implement a significant increase on their pump prices this week.

The adjustments on pump prices will be implemented as early as 12:01 a.m. tomorrow.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Seaoil, Petron and Unioil are set to implement a P2.10-per-liter price hike on diesel and P1.90 per liter markup on gasoline products.
In addition, Caltex, Petron, and Seaoil will also jack up the retail price of kerosene by P1.80 per liter.
The changes in the pricing — which other brands are expected to follow suit — shall start as early as 12:01 a.m.
Last week, local players raised the price of diesel by P0.75 per liter and kerosene by P0.50 per liter. However, they also slashed P0.20 per liter on gasoline.
