Dimayuga is MMDA’s new acting chair

The country's chief executive signed his appointment last August 1.In a statement, the MMDA shared that Dimayuga’s appointment was signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. last August 1. The agency’s newly appointed acting chairman took his oath of office on August 3 before Executive Secretary Victor Rodriguez.
MMDA Flood Control and Sewerage Management Office Director Baltazar Melgar, who earlier served as the agency’s Officer-in-Charge, welcomed Dimayuga to his new position.
“The agency believes that with his instinctive understanding of operations and managerial perspective, he can steer MMDA towards delivering better basic services to the public,” Melgar was quoted as saying.
Dimayuga replaced Attorney Romando Artes (who was appointed by then President Rodrigo Duterte last March).
The MMDA shared that Dimayuga passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination in 1997 after studying Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of Sto. Tomas. He finished his secondary and primary education at Lourdes School Quezon City in 1987 and 1991.
