Dodge reschedules introduction of final ‘Last Call’ model

Dodge announced that it will be rescheduling the introduction of its final “Last Call” car.

The Michigan-based automotive brand cited issues in supply as the reason why the unveiling of the vehicle was pushed back.

“When product and supply challenges have been resolved, the reveal will be rescheduled,” Dodge said in a press release.

Last month, Dodge announced that it will be offering limited-edition units of seven Charger and Challenger cars, which in their current form are coming to an end. Dubbed the “Last Call” models, the Stellantis-owned automobile brand revealed six of these highly-coveted cars in the past few weeks with the promise of introducing the final “Last Call” car at the upcoming 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, Nevada, scheduled from November 1 to 4.

The six previously announced “Last Call” models include Dodge Challenger Shakedown, Dodge Charger Super Bee, Dodge Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swinger, Dodge Charger King Daytona, and Dodge Challenger Black Ghost.

In addition to the “Last Call” special-edition models, Dodge will also celebrate its 2023 model lineup by bringing back four beloved heritage exterior colors: B5 Blue, Plum Crazy purple, Sublime green, and Destroyer Grey.

In total, the 2023 Dodge Charger and Challenger will each offer 14 exterior color options. All 2023 Charger and Challenger R/T models, the automotive firm added, will also feature new “345” fender badging, a callout to the 345-cubic-inch hemispherical combustion chamber (HEMI) engine under the hood.

Furthermore, Dodge stated that all 2023 Charger and Challenger models will also carry a special commemorative “Last Call” underhood plaque, marking their historical significance. The brushed aluminum underhood “Last Call” plaque features the vehicle name and a vehicle silhouette, as well as “Designed in Auburn Hills” and “Assembled in Brampton” to proclaim each vehicle’s origin.
