Dodge reveals 2nd ‘Last Call’ teaser video: ‘Density Matters’

Dodge has revealed the second video teaser for its final “Last Call” car, dubbed “Density Matters.”

The 21-second teaser video builds on “Runnin’ Hyde,” the first teaser video. Here, the leprechaun — who injected himself with liquid gold in the first video— is shown standing on a weighing scale. Surprisingly, the scale seems to stop when it hit 7.1 pounds (lbs).

While the figure is definitely a lot to ponder, it is possible that 7.1lbs refers to the effect of weight-saving features the car might have.

To note, one of the lightest Dodge cars ever to set foot — or rubber — on the road is the 2018 Dodge Demon built by SpeedKore. It was reportedly built with a full carbon fiber exterior, hence the significant reduction in weight.

That said, there’s a chance that the seventh “Last Call” car could be a Dodge Demon. It would make sense as the leprechaun turned into one after intravenously consuming that liquid gold. Conversely, Dodge could simply be building a new vehicle with a full carbon fiber exterior.

We’ll have a few more weeks to put our finger on it as Dodge said it will continue to release teaser videos that provide clues to what the final “Last Call” car is.

Its final reveal will take place on March 20, 2023, at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway during the Dodge Last Call Powered by Roadkill Nights Vegas event.
