To feed one's need for speed, sometimes we have to go miniature.

Dodge and Lego released another pair of toys in their Lego Speed Champions collaboration. Included in the pair are DIY models of the Mopar Dodge SRT Top Fuel Dragster and the 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A.

The Lego Speed Champions pair is now available at lego.com and goes for $50 (roughly P2,300).

Dodge said its official color "Plum Crazy" in the Challenger T/A is the first purple vehicle in the Lego Speed Champions series. The Top Fuel Dragster is the first 8-wide (8W) scale in the series, too.

With 627 pieces, the Dodge set includes a box art of their real-life counterparts to compare the Lego creations with the real-life machines.

It's also packed with realistic details, with the collectible toy vehicles in the building set coming with a wide chassis, which allows for more detailing with decorative stickers, including the two miniature figures donning Dodge apparel and race helmets.

The figurines are one female Top Fuel Dragster driver in a Dodge race suit, and the other a male Challenger T/A driver in casual clothing.

The SRT Top Fuel Dragster measures at over four inches high, 13.5 inches long, and 2.5 inches wide. The Challenger T/A is over two inches high, five  inches long, and 2.5 inches wide

“Owning, or aspiring to own, a Dodge muscle car is as much about the lifestyle of joining the Brotherhood of Muscle as it is about the vehicle purchase,” Dodge Brand Chief Executive Officer of Stellantis Tim Kuniskis said.

“As a result, our brand enthusiasts are passionate about all things Dodge, including the latest cool collectibles," he observed.

“In 2021, we are extremely excited to reteam with Dodge and expand the Speed Champions 8W Vehicle Collection even further by including new vehicle types and building experiences, for the first time, that appeal to vehicle fans of all ages,” Lego Design Lead Christopher Stamp said.

Dodge is under global automaker and mobility provider Stellantis. Alongside Dodge are Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Fiat, Jeep, Ram, and Mopar and SRT. The last two names are Dodge's tuning divisions, known for creating the 807-horsepower Challenger SRT,  to name one of their 700hp-plus machines.
