As Luzon faces a month-long enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), the
Department of Transportation (DOTr) is doing its part in making sure health workers are able to go about their work by providing
point-to-point (P2P) buses that will ferry them to their destination.
Beginning March 18, 2020, the DOTr will be deploying
10 P2P buses serving health workers at two identified pick-up points: the
Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), and at the
BFCT East Metro Transport Terminal in Marikina City.

The bus service will likewise comply with the DOH containment protocols such as the observance of social distancing, body temperature checks, and regular disinfection of vehicles.
Vice President Leni Robredo is also aiding the DOTr in ferrying the health workers by providing free shuttle services for health workers and other frontliners.
President Rodrigo Duterte, placed
all of Luzon under ECQ beginning Monday, March 16, as his Cabinet strengthens its efforts to combat the rising threat of
Covid-19.
