Twenty non-airconditioned units were awarded to the Taguig Transport Service Cooperative, while 13 airconditioned units were authorized to the Pateros-Fort Bonifacio Transport Service Multipurpose Cooperative.
The new units are the second batch of PUVMP jeepneys from Hino to be turned over to the same two cooperatives, following the initial turn over of the first batch of units on July 18.
Present in the event were DOTr OIC-Usec. Mark De Leon, LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra, Hino Motors Philippines Chairman Vicente Mills Jr., LTFRB NCR Regional Director Atty. Zona Tamayo, and Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano.
The DOTr and LTFRB also continue to distribute Pantawid Pasada fuel cards to jeepney operators and drivers in Taguig City.
