The
Ducati Monster is now
25 years old and to celebrate the anniversary of one of its popular models, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer has launched a
limited-edition model for the market.
Produced in a limited edition of
only 500, the
Ducati Monster 1200 25° Anniversario features a
three-color Italian flag livery on the nose fairing, tank and passenger seat cover, inspired by the Monster S4RS Testastretta Tricolorefrom 2008. The special color scheme partners with the seat and its embroidered
25th anniversary logo and is complemented by the gold-colored frame and distinctive
Marchesini forged rims with gold-colored W spokes.
It also has a
steel tube trellis frame and
aluminum single-sided swinging arm combined with the fork with
48 mm diameter stems and a
rear shock absorber, both by
Öhlins and are
fully adjustable. Its seat is also adjustable in height from 795 to 820 mm (31.30 to 32.28 in).
Each of the 500 units will have a plate with progressive numbering applied to the frame to identify its number in the series.
Powering the 25th anniversary model is a
1.2-liter engine that puts out
147 hp and
124 Nm of torque.
