The Suzuki Ertiga is the brand’s entry to the local MPV segment where it competes with other nameplates like the Toyota Avanza and the Mitsubishi Xpander.

It has received a warm welcome from its Filipino market mainly thanks to its affordable price tag and impressive exterior styling.

But the Suzuki Ertiga has more to offer than just a reasonable price and good looks. For those looking to get their hand on one, this is your chance to examine the interior of the Suzuki Ertiga.

A stylish interior

For its price, one would expect a lot of hard plastic and plenty of trims lined with fabric. To our surprise, the interior design of the Suzuki Ertiga is on fleek.

On the range-topping variant, you get a lot of premium accents like the wood grain trims on the door panels, the dashboard, as well as on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. Chrome trims can also be found on the door handles, the shift knob, and again on the D-shaped steering wheel.

Likewise, the seats of the Suzuki Ertiga are made from fabric with shiny brown diagonal strips — fancy.

Decent audio system

The Suzuki Ertiga is no luxury van. Nevertheless, Suzuki made sure to pack it with a decent infotainment system.

Its top-spec variant sports a 10-inch multimedia audio system that has radio, USB, Bluetooth, and navigation features. Mid-spec models get an eight-inch touchscreen system while the base model gets a 1DIN audio, with tuner, and MP3 player.

A/Cs also pretty decent

The Suzuki Ertiga’s air-conditioning system is also pretty decent. On the range-topping variant, you get automatic climate control with a manual A/C at the rear.

Each variant comes standard with a heater and a pollen filter.

And oh, the cup holders are ventilated to keep your beverages cool.

Plenty of pockets

The Suzuki Ertiga has a total of two cup holders and six bottle holders. Two cup holders at the front seats, two bottle holders at the front seats, two bottle holders at the second-row seats, and two again at the third-row seats.

You also get pockets on the first and second-row doors, on the back of the first-row seats, a coin holder on the driver’s side, and of course, the glove box on the passenger’s side.

The Suzuki Ertiga has plenty of room for almost anything you might need to bring with you on both short and long trips.
