The team will also receive the '2019 Red Dot: Design Team of the Year' award when the ceremony commences this July 8 in Essen, Germany. These latest wins hand the Italian supercar maker its 14th Red Dot Award spanning four years, from 2015 to 2019.
"Receiving such a prestigious award encourages all the members of the Ferrari Design Team to draw new creative stimulation, which fuels our passion for our work," said Manzoni, senior vice-president for Design at Ferrari.
Aside from the Monza SP1, other Ferrari units that helped the company earn the rest of the Red Dot distinctions include the FXX-K, 488 GTB, J50, and Portofino.
In the history of Red Dot, no other automobile manufacturer has reached Ferrari's level of success. The Italian Stallion will receive the accolade for the Monza SP1 for its innovative and aesthetically outstanding design.

"The designers use state-of-the-art technology and an emotionally appealing language of form to create an incomparable driving and brand experience."
After the Red Dot award ceremony, Ferrari will appear in the Red Dot Design Museum Esson alongside the 'Design on Stage 2019' and 'Milestones in Contemporary Design 2019' exhibitions, which feature all of the winning products in the Red Dot Award.
