Filipinos Junio and Rellosa Crowned Champs in 1st Hyundai Trucks and Bus World Skills Olympics
Hyundai Philippines's After-Sales Service team clinched the top spot at the first Hyundai Trucks and Bus World Skills Olympics (WSO).
The duo of Gary Junio and Mark Eric Rellosa managed to take home the WSO championship that was held from October 16 to 19 at Hyundai's Global Learning Center in Cheonan, South Korea. Junio of Hyundai Commonwealth and Rellosa of Hyundai Cainta bested other technicians from 13 countries.
Hyundai PH said that teams participated in practical and written challenges, which tested the competitors knowledge of Hyundai truck and bus repair and maintenance.
"We at HARI are immeasurably proud of our Filipino technicians for bringing home Gold. This latest triumph underscores that Hyundai offers unrivalled After-Sales Service and technical expertise through our 42-strong dealership network, supported by our world-class training team at the Hyundai Logistics Center," said Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.
Agudo added that Junio and Rellosa showed the company's determination to make its after-sales service the best. Hyundai PH's big boss goes on by saying that "Gary Junio and Mark Rellosa exemplify what it means to be People of Hyundai."
Completing the top three finishers of the first WSO are China and Myanmar, who finished in second and third, respectively.
