The Hyundai Venue is the South Korean carmaker’s latest entry in the subcompact crossover segment. HARI launched the five-door SUV last year which comes in two variants: the 1.6 GL A/T and the 1.6 GLS A/T.
Under the hood, the Hyundai Venue is fitted with the Gamma 1.6 MPI engine that can generate a maximum power output of 121hp and 151Nm. The gasoline mill is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Both variants sport bi-function halogen headlights with LED position lights and static bending lights that flank the wide grille (black on the GL and chrome on the GLS). At the back, the Venue offers LED rear lamps with a high-mount stoplamp.
Its side profile is enhanced by 17-inch wheels (15 inches on the GL variant) and the roofrail at the top (available for the GLS variant).
The solid frame and somewhat bulky dimensions of the Venue make for a great backdrop for some of the most eye-catching colors the South Korean carmaker has to offer.
Let’s check them out.
The Hyundai Venue looks like a hard-wearing daily driver in blue. This color gives the subcompact crossover an aura of durability and reliability, just like your jeans.
Denim Blue suits not only the Venue but also owners who have a similar character.
A mix between red and tangerine, Hyundai’s Lava Orange makes for a hot color that’s sure to make your ride look like it’s on fire, in a good way that is.
Lava Orange is loud, fun, and would be a perfect paint for people who are not afraid to stand out.
Gray has become a popular color for SUVs. Its monotonous hue may be seen as dull and boring but in the automotive industry, gray vehicles are often seen as sophisticated and classy.
That said, it gives the Venue a modern look that suits young and tech-savvy car owners.
White symbolizes new beginnings. That said, it’s a great option for young families and people looking for a subcompact crossover that represents a fresh start.
Nevertheless, prepare to wash your vehicle more often because white paint is a pain to keep clean.
Black vehicles emanate luxury and sophistication. It makes the Hyundai Venue look like a ride fit for a boss.
If ever you’re on the market for a stylish crossover, don’t forget to check out this classy color.
