Ford, Climate Museum team up for live mural

The “Someday, all this” mural will be presented in the Climate Museum’s pop-up in Soho, Manhattan on October 8.The live mural — which offers a bracing commentary on the impact of the climate crisis on the American landscape — was shown in The Nest Summit Campus (the official event partner of Climate Week NYC) at the Javits Center. Climate Week is held in New York City every September in conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Opdyke, assisted by Museum staff, has installed a mural made of hundreds of hand-modified postcards, sharing a behind-the-scenes look at his process with visitors.
According to Ford, Opdyke’s “Someday, all this” will be moved to the Climate Museum’s Soho pop-up on October 8. The artwork, said the Climate Museum, will be paired with a climate action incubator where visitors participate in guided opportunities for reflection, dialogue, and action for better futures.
