Ford in the US recently reached a production milestone of 40 million units for its F-Series.
In a statement, Ford shared photos of the 2022 F-150 Tremor in Iconic Silver paint receiving its final touches at the assembly line of the Dearborn Truck Plant in Michigan. According to the Blue Oval brand, the specific unit is headed to a customer in Texas “to get to work, because that’s what Ford trucks do.”
Aside from that, the American automotive manufacturer also showed off a 1950 Ford F-1.
The company shared that it started producing the first-generation F-Series Trucks 75 years ago—way back in 1947. The Ford F-1, F-2, F-3 and F-4 went on sale the following year and the first-generation F-Series production spanned 1948 to 1950.
In June 2020, Ford Philippines revived the F-150 nameplate (powered by a gasoline engine). Last year, the local arm of the American automaker replaced the F-150 offering with a diesel powertrain.
