Ford PH closes 2022 with 24k-unit sales performance

For the full-year period, a total of 11,396 examples were delivered to clients.The company said that the last year’s sales output (which reflected a 24-percent increase over 2021’s retail numbers) is mainly driven by its three models namely the Ford Ranger, Everest, and Territory.
Taking the country’s second best-selling pick-up truck position, the Ford Ranger had the most number of units sold for the Blue Oval brand in 2022 after the nameplate rolled out 11,396 examples to customers. This is 24-percent higher than the model’s 2021 performance.
To note, the next-generation Ranger was introduced to the Philippine market last year.
Meanwhile, the Ford Everest, which the latest iteration was revealed in the country in July 2022, also showed big numbers in terms of sales with its 3,534 units sold in the whole 12-month period — showing a 99-percent jump over the same duration the previous year.
Further, the Ford Territory marked its third year of being the best-selling small sport utility vehicle last year with full-year sales at 9,269 units — taking 51 percent of the market and displaying a 35-percent growth over 2021.
The Ford Territory reached its 15,000-sales milestone in September last year.
Ford said that it achieved its best monthly retail performance in December with 3,260 vehicles last month, which is a 76-percent improvement compared to the same period a year ago. The said month’s accomplishment was propelled by the next-generation Ranger’s sales of 1,566 units (its highest retail output since it was launched last July.
“It was a milestone year for Ford Philippines in 2022 with the launch of our next-generation Ford Ranger and Everest and the continued success of our Ford Territory, including a number of customer engagement initiatives that allowed us to enhance the Ford purchase and ownership experience,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen said.
“We thank our dealers for their partnership, our employees for their passion and dedication to serve, and our customers for their trust and confidence in Ford,” he added.
Moreover, Ford Philippines is welcoming the month with promotions which includes a P149,000 all-in down payment and free three-year scheduled service plan for the Territory.
Additionally, the next-generation Ford Ranger XLS 4x2 MT is also available at a P105,000 all-in down payment, while its automatic transmission option, with a P99,999 all-in down payment.
