Ford PH eyes to be regional parts hub with new warehouse facility

Ford Philippines is eyeing to make vehicle parts more accessible locally as well as for neighboring countries after adding a new parts warehouse facility.

This move will boost its storage and supply capability by up to 30 percent compared to its current inventory. The company also assured that the newer Ford vehicles like the F-150, Transit, Territory, and the Ranger FX4 Max will also have more parts, which will improve the Ford ownership experience.

Apart from that, the additional space will also help the Philippine distributor of the Blue Oval brand to become a major parts hub, “supplying vehicle parts to Ford markets in the ASEAN region such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar.”

Ford Philippines Customer Service Division director Joyce Laxamana noted the importance of parts availability to its customers.

“At Ford, we aim to treat our customers like family. We recognize that parts accessibility is very important for our customers and in the overall ownership experience. With the expansion of our parts warehouse facility, we are able to better serve our customers and improve their after-sales experience when it comes to parts availability,” Laxamana was quoted as saying.

Further, Ford claimed that it is also boosting its nationwide direct-delivery and same-day delivery programs, leveraging on a more automated and streamlined process that makes parts ordering and delivery faster and more efficient.

Ford Philippines claimed that it are now able to deliver parts straight to all 50 dealers in the country. With same-day delivery, parts ordered before 12 noon are delivered on the same day for dealers in Metro Manila and in nearby locations.

“We aim to continuously improve on our parts delivery process to expedite the servicing and maintenance of Ford vehicles in our showrooms while maintaining the Ford brand of quality service,” Laxamana declared.
