Ford PH H1 2023 sales breach 13k-unit mark
Ford Philippines' sales for the first half of 2023 almost hit the 14,000-unit milestone.
Comprised of the Blue Oval brand’s local next-generation roster, the company retailed a total of 13,838 units for the initial six months of the year — reflecting a 55-percent increase compared to the same period in 2022.
Providing the strongest thrust for its year-to-date sales performance is the next-generation Ford Ranger. The American automotive marque’s local distributor said that for January-June 2023, a total of 5,436 examples were rolled out to customers.
The addition of the next-generation Raptor option boosted the pick-up truck’s retail performance — with sales nearly hitting 600 units since its introduction in late May.
Meanwhile, the next-generation Territory — unveiled last April at the Manila International Auto Show 2023 — further solidified its position as the leading small sport utility vehicle locally, Its sales grew by 22 percent to 4,493 units. Ford Philippines shared that the five-seater crossover breached the 2,500-unit retail output less than three months after being launched.
Giving additional firepower to Ford’s strong sales performance for the six-month duration is the next-generation Everest’s 3,786-unit sales performance — showing a 503-percent growth with 3,786 units turned over to clients.
To note, the next-generation models namely the Ranger, Territory, and Everest come with a five-year warranty.
Earlier this year, Ford Philippines launched new service initiatives aimed to provide ease and convenience in owning a Ford vehicle.
Express Service is offered to customers who prefer to have their vehicles serviced in a faster and more efficient way than regular maintenance. The program is designed to be performed within a period of 90 minutes.
On the other hand, customers can also take advantage of the Pickup and Delivery program for those who want their Ford vehicles to be serviced without interrupting their day.
“These milestones testify to our commitment to enhance the Ford ownership experience with vehicles and services that our customers need and deserve,” Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Allen Breen said.
“We celebrate these milestones with our customers who continue to patronize the Ford brand, as well as with our dealers for their partnership and commitment to enhance the customer experience. We are truly energized and excited for what’s to come for the second half of the year.”
